the floating market, as its tterms says, is a traditional market which is floating on the middle of the river. we can find it in Musi River, in Palembang. we can also find such market in Banjarmasin. In the floating market, The merchants use boats to put their merchandise. Arrays of fruit, vegetables, spices, etc, are laid out, from dawn until dusk. like the other traditional market, in the floating market we can bargain the things we want to buy in order to get the lowest price and then directly pay them to the seller.
Going shopping at the floating market seems to be fascinating. we can enjoy the shaky boat and the sound of splattering water.
